I hate to say it, but one my baby dresses, it's usually hit or miss.
House of Dereon, was not made for the average woman, who stays within her comfort zone, when it comes to fashion. Dereon, is for taking risk, and bring Coture pieces to the streets to make them more urban!
I believe that the journalist, had not right to comment on the "Ill" fit, a you would describe it. You have to find the size that will make you look good, as with any clothing line. I believe that Tina has done excellent work, by maintaining a personal style, and doing designs that she is comfortable with wearing.
At the end of the day, your art is to be appealing to mass or to few, if few decide that's what they want to wear, atleast someone considered your art.
Appreciate it for what it is, or shut the fuck up, and cotinue blogging.

For the record, anyone who can make a wealthy living out of something they're not good at is to be applauded. But I'm going to tell it like I see it. Tina is a HORRIBLE designer and that will never change no matter how upset or angry people will get. The truth is what it is. The journalist had EVERY right to ask about the ill-fitting sizes because people were COMPLAINING that the clothes were POORLY designed. All the journalist did was ask what consumers wanted to inquire about regarding the clothes, so she was wrong to cut off the journalist. A professional would NEVER have done that.

Beyonce Knowles was left red-faced at the launch of her new fashion boutique House of Dereon in Chicago last Thursday, when her mother Tina Knowles lashed out at a reporter who pointed out faults in her designs.
Mother and daughter were initially all smiles as they greeted the press, but when WBBM-TV journalist Dorothy Tucker pointed out that many of the garments had been sent back by stores because they had been sized wrong, the matriarch demanded the cameras to stop rolling.
Tucker inquired, "They're beautiful (clothes), but the next question -- I don't quite understand it, and maybe you guys can explain it for me -- your clothes are sold in about a dozen stores in the Chicago area.
"We did get a phone call from a couple of those stores that said they had to send the production back, that there was a poor fit, the tops weren't ..."
Tina immediately cut her off, snapping, "Why would you -- wait, wait, wait -- we're going to cut that off. Why would you do that? You're here to interview us about the clothes, in a positive light."
Tucker claimed she had spoken to several retailers who had been unable to get a response from the company, and attempted to get an explanation, persisting, "It doesn't make any sense, because I'm looking at the clothing ...", to which Tina blasted, "Yeah, but I don't want to talk about that on the air."

I think there may be a difference in how Dereon and House of Dereon looks. What most people can afford is Dereon which looks not so good but Beyonce and Tina were wearing House of D and they both looked great.

I like a few things from House of Dereon. They DO have some nice things but they are way 2 pricey for my taste. Its all high fashion stuff. As much as I love Beyonce and admire her for her talents and work ethic of runnin' shit in this industry, I wouldn't pay what they offer for the clothes unless I was seriously ballin' status.
