The album in the US was just moved to October 7th.
We are now going to work two new singles - "Hello Heartbreak" at Dance Radio to follow up the number one “We Break The Dawn” and “The Greatest” at all other formats.
We are adding more TV for August and September so that Michelle can come out with a big bang and knock’em dead.
We are going to have special promotion where folks can get the album early in late August.
Stay tuned for details.

Honestly though, I think if Amerie was going to be a big artist and sell big numbers she would've already done so. Going on 4 albums, I don't think anyone is checking for her but her die hard fans.

Amerie is on Rihanna's label now. until Rihanna is ready to pop out some babies, she is having that drive like Beyonce right now. No one is touching Rihanna's spot as princess of Music. Now when the Queen returns, then Rihanna might just be taking backseats. I have always known her to not release any singles around the same time as Queen Bee.
I hope Amerie just comes with something that will get her in the top 10!!!

I do like Amerie...her first album was good, in my opinon. We all know she can never match Beyonce or Rihanna's success but thats ok. She'll be ok. I'm hoping for a good first single from her and wish her luck anyway.

Stargate will blatantly get a cut on Amerie's album. She's signed to Def Jam and it's almost like every R&B / Pop artist on that label signs a contract they have to get at least ONE Stargate joint. *lol*
I hope she works with Darkchild, Bryan Michael Cox, Danja, The Buchanans, Bloodshy & Avant and Rich Harrison. I don't know why she made the decision to cut him from her last album. Several of the songs on the album sounded like they were produced by him anyway.

I doubt Tricky will. The cool thing about Tricky is that he never seems to work the same sound twice. He's very varied and doesn't really have a signature sound where you could say "Oh, that's a Tricky joint!" I'm sure he and The Dream will give her a good song, but I'm not expecting it to be something that'll shut it down how "Umbrella" did. That was one of those once in an artists', producers' and songwriters' career moments. Rihanna, Tricky and The Dream ain't never getting a hit like that again.
As for Rich Harrison, I'd still like him to work with Amerie. When people think of him they think of his heavily percussive, go-go inspired records - but he wasn't always about that. He laced Amerie correctly on Touch with songs such as "Come with me" and "Rolling down my face" which didn't have that Go-go sound. Then there was "I just died" from her debut which was just an absolute chooooon!!!
As for Stargate, I'm trying to guess which hit of theirs they'll recycle for Amerie. I'm betting we'll get an acoustic guitar and some handclaps. *rolls eyes*
i guess your right. but i did read he was a confirmed producer on monica maniaa. still it will be intresting. very indeed.
