Hey i'm not complaining i'd love to see a JT and Usher collabo, and any other new stuff from his because I wasn't impressed with "Here I Stand".
My opinion, but I prefer JT's music and voice to Ushers right now.
how can anyone prefer jt's voice. i've never thought of him as vocally talented. i dont think its ushers choice to repackage his album. i think the label has everything planned out to how they want it to go.
"Futuresex/Lovesounds" did more than shit on "Here I Fall". I was too damn disappointed with Ursh, I had to run back to "Confessions". He shouldn't feel alone about having a cruddy follow-up to a super successful album. Mariah Carey is right along with him

Re-releases are signs of desperation. I only approve of underrated albums that are actually worth being repackaged. Not the same shit being repackaged with even more garbage. It was cool before, but now...nu uh.
i would choose justin over usher anytime. usher is just a bitter gay soul. there's nothing innovative about his music, toya is right, justin's album takes a big nasty shit all over usher's..if he thinks he'll pass 3xP he's wrong big time.

^ Yeah, but they don't have Usher's success. Craig David shits on both JT and Usher vocally, but he peaked really early with his debut and hasn't encountered the same success since. Robin Thicke also deserves to be much bigger than he is now. He's much better than JT in my opinion.

Craig's voice is a lot more richer than Usher's, and a lot more smoother. I prefer him vocally and I do think he's the better singer, but then again, I'm a Craig David stan so.....

Craig David is cool but really none of these male vocalists are anything to write home about. I mean I'm only 20 but I think Sam Cooke is the best male vocalist I've ever heard before, but of these days I think that Adam Levine has a good voice too.

Y'all all need to do your research, the JT verse on 'Give It 2 Me' is about Prince when he said 'whoever said their bringin sexyback, needs to know it never left.' I actually think Usher will always be the King-who cant have a successful album without Timbaland even now that his sound is becoming tired. At least Usher tries to be different and innovative. Both JT and Chris Brown hop on the hottest producer bandwagon every time. That's just following trends. 'Run It' is a cheap version of 'Yeah!' and Usher already work with Neptunes on 8701 b4 Justified. Usher doesn't care about having hit singles, he's trying to evolve as an artist duh!

I like Usher & all but... Lets not act like he was BUILT for this from the beginning. Yeah JT leans on Timbaland alot BUT...Usher wasnt always THE MAN either. If L.A. Reid and Jermaine Dupri hadn't saved his life, He would have been one of Puffy's flunkies like Carl Thomas and Ness from DA BAND. He was on Bad Boy and he was not poppin until he got off and did U Make Me Wanna. Usher fans need to do their research.
Usher's first album on Bad Boy sold very well, considering he was not well known and just a teen.
And it was Puffy's idea to then let Jermaine Dupri step in and mould Usher's sound to suit a maturer growing young man and audience - so yes, Usher fans DO need to do their research!

He'll have a big first week and Moving Mountains will do really well, but after that he's downhill.
As for Mariah, her and everyone elsew sales suck. This is the least amount of promo she has ever done and Bye Bye has just started to pick up; it had really good airplay gains the last 2 weeks. I hope she does more promo when she gets back from Japa. In the first week of June. I love the album and it deserves to do well. In the US she has the 2nd biggest sllee of the year so far, but that's not saying much. Does she have a We Belong Together sized hit? No, but she has a string of stuff that should do really well. Internationally, her fanbase has been slipping and if they dont put out the write singles outside the states, then she won't do well. Based on its sales now and overall album sales in the market, there is no way she is outselling TEOM, but she can do well if promotion and the right singles.

Re-releasing doesn't mean a damn thing, CONFESSION was a success and they re-released it, so why do ppl believe it's a sign that Here I Stand will flop?
Having said that, Here I Stand is really not impressive, and yes Future Sex/Love Sound is a much much better album I admit.
I think Usher was counting on his name to sell his album. He mine as well be real with himself cuz HERE I STAND is not up to par with CONFESSIONS. I'm still contemplating about buying the album. I hate WACK material and refused to support GARBAGE just becuase of your name.

Usher gets my vote hands down. I've never been into JT. His voice make me cringe.
I will say that I'm really fed up with this re-release stuff. You guys listen to me bitch about it every time an artists mentions doing it. Why should we go out and buy the first release and then go out and buy the re-release that has a few extra tracks? Any one who does that is a fucking fool.

Oh well, I guess I won't be buying Here I Stand soon after all. I'm going to wait and see what's going on with the re-release first. Although I doubt he can do much more with the album. It's long as it is, and I think it's pretty good as is. Usher didn't have anything to prove this time around. He'd already done that with Confessions.

I hate rereleases...If I think an artist is going to rerelease, then why not wait till the second one to buy, if at all? If I was going to buy this album (which I'm not, I think it's not that good), then I would hold off b/c he as good as said it'd be rereleased. Usher's only hurting himself...
