Ha funny comments. I guess certain things do bring up stereotypes like:
Everyone in California surfs/wants to be an actor
Canada is cold 12 months of the year
Arkansas is inbred
New Yorkers are all jewish
I could go on all day I suppose. I guess the media helps push these stereotypes along.
I get the same sort of thing due to me living in Indiana, USA. Everyone thinks I grow corn and drive my tractor to work. At least I done did gradu8 from that their high school. :-D
I find that most northern Americans sound just the same as us (in Ontario, at least). Lol, it's also funny how some of the southerners also think all Canadian's live in igloos. I've had one ask me how it's like to live in an igloo... then i asked him how i could get internet and electricty in a house built out of ice. If it ever started to melt, i would surely die o_o.
