This is ... more than likely ... the best written post on the subject of current day sexuality from the humanistic and very real viewpoint of the smart and sexy woman.
It is brilliant. It cuts right through the social veneer and gets to the very meat of the subject.
There is probably a semi-axiomatic truth floating blindly through somewhere in our civilization that postulates that we become that which we resist ... and there may be truth to the resultant obverse ... we then resist that which we become.
Whatever ... what do know is that one day I want to eat from the same plate, inhale from the same cigarette, and drink from the same bottle.

Hi Glenn. You can certainly use the image. I had originally worked on it when pondering pornography etc. and felt it worked for this post as well!

I very much like this post and the picture. I find that most people strive for what they hate. (i.e. gold diggers.)
I like this post I found on a matrix site when discribing Cypher.
"The body yearns for illusion, for the counterfeit pleasures. Forget about being someone really important, the body is satisfied with the sensation of importance - as long as there is no pain. - to be famous, rich, in a world of complete illusion. Real meaning and virtue takes a lots of effort. The counterfeit version is an easy ride.
We all have a death wish. The body's underlying drive is suicide - the ultimate state of feeling no pain. In the meantime it'll settle for suicide in installments - just one more drink, one more hit. And anybody that tries to stop it... watch out! The body wants escape. The soul yearns for reality, for Zion."

I would very much like to add that particular picture to my web page.

your images and thoughts combined make for fascinating social commentery. While I'm neither yeah nor neah on the subject (as I think men and women can both look each other square in the eye and say "hi pot, its the kettle; your black") I like your style. Makes you wonder if cyber-anonimity were removed, what tune people would be singing up close and personal.
keep up the good stuff.

Good post.... I met my partner 2.75 years ago on the net. We've never had any secrets sexual or other wise. Sex has always been amazing(well if we're both up for it). My 1st wife wouldn't ever point me in the right direction. Donna knows what she wants and how to get it. That's one of the things I love about her. We don't live in Victorian times anymore, so women don't have to have Victorian values. Go out and enjoy yourself girlie! I think most men only call the women sluts, whores etc because they were turned down by them. But hey if you can get a new car out of it....

Not to say it's all men's fault. You point out the folly of men who complain about some of women's less than desireable traits and then do things to attract those very women they bitch about. But those women bear responsibility for the way they act and the men they pay attention and try to attract.
Women bitch as much as men and both sexes delude themselves when they point the finger of blame. When it comes to matters of sex, men and women are both capable of bringing out the worst in themselves.
