The grr did throw me a bit. Gggrrrr seems to be the new woof (completely eclipsing the rarely heard arf). It's used between bears to flirt or show attraction or arousal. I've been getting my share of grrrs recently. But since you're not a bear, I assume grr means you don't like talking cookies.
