oh, that Anonymous comment is me.
when i had my xrays done of my right wrist they gave me the envelope (with the xrays in 'em) and told me to go down to whatever floor and give 'em to my doctor. of course, i broke 'em out in the elevator and sure enough saw the crack in that chicken nugget size bone right in the middle of the wrist. damn! had to have bone graft surgery which involves getting fresh bone tissue from your pelvis. ouch! sorry if i scared ya. it's probably not that bad. i let my injury go for a month or two before i got checked out. good luck.
my wife had a similar problem with her wrist that flaired up and got worse when she used it more. It was some type of cyst and she had to have it surgically removed. Good luck with it.

How strange. I thought they would tell you right away what the problem was. I hope you don't have to wait long to get treatment (it looks painful).
Your parties are always fabulous. I wouldn't worry about plans because it always seems to come together for you. I'm sure you two will do fine getting ready.
