Perhaps, a career would help you to buy cigarettes? Yes, I see it now. Get a career, so you can smoke away your career-blues. By the way, I'm not writing in order to distract myself from the real world, but this writing is distracting me from the real world.
If you quit smoking, get some silly putty. I was a silly putty freak for the first few weeks. 
I'm wondering what I'll do after the orgies get boring.
good luck with your job seach. i'm in total agreement that people put way too much importance on career. must be a hold over from that way things used to be in our society. do what you like and like what you do.

Greetings. I just wandered in from the Yahoo! message boreds. You write that you are looking for some part-time jobs. I think that one should be bartending at a beer-and-shot joint. I did that while I was in graduate school. Undoubtedly, your experiences there will provide you with an endless supply of anecdotes for your blog. But only if you listen to your customers.
