Top Dog, it's almost warm enough for us to go have that pitcher.

I'm glad someone finally ranted about those fucking inspirational posters. They have been bugging me for years.
Just another form of mind control...

It looks like the cat is in the process of dying, and I would imagine the mountain climber froze to death and is now dead also.
But they are very inspirational.

I'm partial to the truly inspired De-Motivational series:

Every day, for almost three years, my boss has tried to inspire me and everyone I work with using daily quotations from here: http://www.greatday.com/
Quite frankly, I'm so busy most of the time I don't even read the subject line anymore. And after a few weeks, it's all the same.
The guy who authors the daily inspirations has aparently got it all figured out. I'm content knowing that at least one member of the human race has achieved inner peace, complete wisdom, and fabulous personal wealth.
I'll be happy hanging in there. Especially if there is a pitcher of beer on a patio somewhere with my name on it.

Those silly posters are the brainchild of some highly-paid corporate motivational speaker who are patting themselves on their back for their contribution to mental health. Man, are they deluded.
oh, btw..Speaking of the 70's--today in 1973 the last troops were withdrawn from VietNam. Just heard it on the news, thought it was a coinkydink.
