I know the owner of the former 3 Muses -- an Irish bloke who is funnier than all get out. I can also endorse the Grand bakery -- excellent food. I live less than 1/2 a block from Gigi's, and go there on a regular basis.

I agree with the part about soulless suburbs...I grew up and lived in Eden Prairie, Cripes, a good place to raise your kids, but after that, forget about it.

I would prefer to live anywhere that the discharge of firearms is allowed in your own backyard, but my CP has decided to condemn us to a life in one of the souless suburbs.

Unfortunately, really open spaces are only to be found an hour or more from the city. The Lovely Mrs. Eberly works downtown and I work in the second and third ring burbs. So we'll have to wait until I'm independantly wealthy or can telecommute 3 days a week.

Fang would love a 10 or 20 acre lot with squirrels, rabbits and a pond to swim in!
