For a new title, I would suggest: Why al Qaeda Sucks. It's provocative and associates any radical Muslim with the disrepute of a terrorist organization, and no doubt a bigoted, intolerant Muslims is probably at the very least a closeted support of al Qaeda.

The thing is Spectator, it is not just al Qaeda that is doing this kind of crap in the name of Islam. The GOVERNMENT of Iran does stuff like this in the name of Islam. The GOVERNMENT of Eqypt and the GOVERNMENT of Saudia Arabia and the GOVERNMENT of Sudan all do things like this. Spectator's wrong, we cannot just change it to "Why al-Qaeda Sucks". For one, it suggests someone out there doesn't think it sucks. Plus, some of these instances do not involve al-Qaeda at all. Of course, we like Spectator... he's trying to be helpful too, so you can't blame him for giving it a little thought.
Bilbo's got something there... but add one simple word: "Why the Religion of Peace Isn't".

All I ask that you consider the ramifications of overselling your message. It simply makes it easy for people to dismiss you, as was evident in a recent NYT editorial. I agree that Islam as practiced today by many Muslims is despicable. That said, any criticism of Islam has to make room for tolerant Muslims, otherwise you make it more difficult for them to maintain a moderate stance and you make it easy for liberals to continue thinking that the danger of Islam is simply a fiction of the right.
I'll step aside, though, so that the choir can sing the Islam Sucks chorus.

Paul hit on a very important point, Free speech laws are required for unpopular speech. Popular speech rarely needs protection.
Also, the Islam Sucks Ass series is a semi-serious way to deal with a deadly serious issue. If we give in to those that don't like how we present our message, should we also give in when they don't like our message at all?
You can read tons of scholarly articles that never actually condemn Islam, but this is a blog written in a conversational tone. We like to present info in the same format as we would at a kick ass party with scotch and cigars.
