You're painting with a mighty wide brush, Lady.
And this should be WIS 229. 228 is Martyr Mouse.

The reasons to hate and despise this death cult seem endless don't they? No wonder you lose count.
I don't think that brush is so wide, Kermit. They are pretty hosed up in the head about sexual stuff and the way they treat and brainwash kids is no secret.

Yeah I misnumbered it....fixed.

Broad brush.....have you read their book lately Kermit? I have a copy you can borrow...

Read it and several histories of Islam and the pedophile Prophet. I am not a fan. Accusing all Muslims of pederasty is rather akin to accusing all Catholic priests of the same, however. The Mullahs can point to any number of decadent Western "entertainments" with an equal degree of condemnation, and rightly so.
Abdul Smith may or may not have a jones on for some little boys butt, I just don't know that from personal experience. I'm not ready to accuse 1.2 billion humans of institutional child molestation.
But that's just me. I hate child molestation, and want to think the best I possibly can about my brothers and sisters here on Starship Earth.

"Any religion that abuses defenseless children in such a manner, can not really be taken seriously."

But it is a religion non the less......the religion of Satan.

The difference is that the Bible does not teach conversion or killing as an acceptable practice or that adultery is acceptable (even if followers disobey)..... The Koran on the other hand teaches that both these atrocities are acceptable. Read "Sword of the Prophet" by Serge Trifkovic and then tell us that Islam is tolerant.

If you want to go down that road, how many wives did King David have? He was in the Bible. How about Solomon?
I don't recall one passage in the Bible declaring for monogamy. If you can enlighten me, I'd appreciate it.

Does the Christian Bible and our God teach killing and adultery? Or is that the choice of SOME followers?

Islam on the other hand, does teach that killing is acceptable and is the responsibility of dutiful Muslims.

Pick up and read "Sword of the Prophet" by Serge Trifkovic before trying to engage me in any further discussion.

Um, you're engaging me.
I have to confess a wide-ranging knowledge of both Islam and the "Christian" Bible. The first part of that "Christian" Bible (the Jewish part) most certainly DOES teach that killing is not just acceptable, but necessary.
Human history, on the other hand is decorated with over 17 centuries of Christian violence and bloodshed in the name of God.
I was mildly critical of Lady Logician (whom I consider a friend) about painting with a wide brush, because tens of millions of people have been raised in this religion and I would hazard a guess that a great many of them have never considered sticking their tallywhacker up the backside of a pre pubescent boy. I could be wrong. I like to think the best of people.

I really do too Kermit. I am an eternal optimist (ask the Logical Husband about how Pollyannish I am).

I would be willing to cut the "10s of millions" who are not doing this crap some slack if they would ever speak out AGAINST IT! The fact that they don't is chilling....

I will admit that there are probably as many back-sliden Muslims as their are back-sliden Catholics. However, with the Catholic Church does have it's problems they speak up and say "that's not right". Have you heard that out of the any Muslims that are not Islamists?

LL

The problem is Islam is in the same place the Catholic Church was in the Middle Ages. Unless your Henry Tudor VIII you can't really speak out AGAINST IT unless you have a death wish.
It's hard to argue with Peace through Submission.

For reference, Matthew 6:24 (the first clause) was said to prohibit polygamy. At least that's the verse that Mark Twain used when queried by Mormons on the subject. :^) More seriously, Paul prohibits polygamists from holding church office in 1 Timothy and Titus.

One can also infer the wrongness of polygamy from its results; unceasing strife that spread from the house of David to the whole nation, idolatry, and more.

This is also in contrast to the Koran, which specifically endorses polygamy, which the Bible does not do. It's also worth noting that while most Muslims reject pederasty, it still holds a place in their Scriptures. So comparing this to wayward priests is a false comparison.
