IMHO:Alchohol is not the problem or the cause of bad actions with this guy- just symptomatic of his inner mental emotional problems.
Most people who are "ASSHOLES" when they drink-are Assholes when they are sober. The liquor just gives them the courage to be "UBER-ASSHOLES."

Why was this trial complicated by "language difficulties, cultural barriers and religious taboos"? With a huge Somali population, none are employed by the state? And what do cultural barriers and religious taboos have to do with this asshole raping a woman? Their culture and religion have NOTHING to do with our laws. Should we expect this of the rest of the Somali population? Many have the same or worse pasts. All excuses for a POS and a POS culture.
