When will Congress approve drilling? |
They don't have to do anything, the old order expires in Sept. I'm guessing that the Do-Nothing-Democrats will just let it expire rather than actively try to help Americans. |
Oil drilling is WAY more less intrusive on the environment that it use to be. How many oil spills |
Wind is not an alternative. Because it is undependable, it has to be backed up by a secondary source, like coal or nuclear, and you don't turn those plants on and off. Unless you desire brownouts and blackouts. |
Don't you mean IF Duce? I hate to be pessimistic, but San Fran Nan is STILL in charge of the House and she has made it abundantly clear that she does not FEEL that additional oil in the pipeline will make a difference.... |

KERMIT- I said |
So essentially only in the middle of the Dakotas. |
The problem with wind and solar is: |
What happens when you want to make toast at night when the wind isn't blowing? |
Second hand smoke kills! We must ban campfires. |
I cannot make dinner reservations fast enough. Thanks boys. |
yes the dakotas-I agree, But have a nuclear, natural gas, coal to electric back up. |
Right back at you, Nony. |
Besides the problems with with trying to produce energy when there is no wind, or no sun, we also have a problem with the power grid itself. It is simply not set up to get power from where there IS wind and sun, to the places that need the power because they cannot produce their own. |

"Everything You Thought Was Right Was Wrong Today" - no one here is paying for your dinner res, AlBorg. Who's the tool? |
Al is a handy dandy 5 in 1 tool! |
5Al's have pretty delusional. They have a full and rich fantasy life where the rules of economics don't apply. |
