I think MN is headed in the same direction as Michigan. Currently Michigan is the only state in recession and MN isn't far behind.

Property tax. up food prices up. gas up. crime up. and the Governor plays hide the carbon offsets with Algore and his minions. This guy is a train wreck and is playing games with this state.

"We don't have the funds to take care of our infrastructure needs"

Northstar's moving forward, Central corridor just got $60 million from the feds -- things are moving forward for sure.

Algore thinks the state is flush with funds.
Pleeeenty of money.

But we need to make old ladies in walkers work off that property tax bill cause funding for the poor people with only 120" plasma screens has to come from somewhere; that cable bill aint cheap. Besides the cheap ass old hag probably voted no on the levy and quite possible could be a republican.

By jove, I think Sequel's got it!!

"I think MN is headed in the same direction as Michigan." Michigan was almost completely dependent on one industry, a mistake Minnesota has not made.

There are many, many states in worse financial shape than we are.

I heard about this on my way to work, and my thought was that if there really was "global" warming, one really ought to be able to observe its effects anywhere on the globe. You shouldn't need to go to the Arctic to figure it out.

Nice that Algore is admitting that the state has plenty of money. I hope the DFL figures this out and stops asking for more tax increases.

I don't care how Mr. Pawlenty wastes his time, nor with whom. But when he wants to waste my money and MY time "fighting" a non-existent problem like "global warming," that's when I DO care.
