What I don't get about liberals is that for decades now they say we need to do this and that but we have more poverty and inequalities now.
Maybe instead of offering welfare or subsidized this and that the libbies should help create actual programs that teach people how to create a job resume, how to do personal banking, how to access job listings, how to by or lease a car to get to that new job, and so on.
Then it is up to the individuals to act on this help. Giving someone a lump sum check is like giving a child a jar of candy and saying here you can have the whole thing now without doing anything.
