Couldn't she get in touch with her focus groups any faster than that?

You know...I even waited to post this because I was hoping that the the Strib would be fair about this...but I think they've had enough time.
It just goes to show you that the Star Tribune is more intersted in smearing the right and defending the left than they are in actually reporting the news.

"She is sending it back to the "original" donors with a request for a contribution."
Here's a copy of that letter.
Dear Fuguitive From Justice,
Here is your contribution back that I'm sure was made with your had earned labor and not some shell donation.
As you know the crisis facing this nation is dire. There are people in some states that have no light rail or universal health care. Like Jon Kerry said, We are stuk in irak. Yes I know I voted for it and the continuing funding of it. And I don't care that I voted to confirm Gen. Betrayus, he's lying because I and code pink say so. We need your help to defeat those oh so corrupt republicans in the next election. Please consider taking that hard earned money and re-donating it to Hillary 08'. Thanks in advance.
Hillary Rodham, er I mean it's election time so for now it's just Clinton. Unless of course my poll numbers with the feminazis tank then it will be back to Rodham Clinton.
Anyhoo, thanks a ton. Love, Hill.

Funny letter, Alex.
Evidently Clinton is reticent to release the list of contributors until all the background checks are completely by her campaign staffers.
Wonder how many many other fugitives are on that list.
It's very odd, and hypocritical, that she proclaimed that all background checks already had been done by her staffers prior to this new revelation.
Her staff was informed at the start of Clinton's campaign to pay specific attention to "bundlers".
Obama and Edwards can't touch her on this one because they both have gotten caught with their hands in the cookie jar.
Oh, and puh-lease don't think I am naive enough to not think the Republican canditates don't have black sheep contributors.
What galls me is Clinton professing a pious clean contribution slate and having to wipe the egg off of her face.
Seem to remember something about her husband previously embroiled in a very similar situation....
Not surprised about the buried Strib blurb. I've mentioned I have freelanced there and it's liberalism at it's worst. Shockingly, in discussion, they refuse to see it. Amazing!
Signed,

That's the one thing that most people don't realize. She is SO FAR in debt to special interest groups that, if elected, she will be no different than the past 16 years of Bushies and Clintons.

From See Dubya via Malkin.
"If the worry is that Hsu was using at least some of these people as fronts so that he could exceed the federal limits on how much he could donate to Hillary, then how will the money be any less tainted if they re-gift it to her? I.e., if Hsu cuts John Doe a check for $100,000 and asks him to spread it around among Democrats A-Z, then giving that money back to John so that he can give it right back to you doesn’t “cleanse” it. It’s Hsu’s money; John never should have had it in the first place. If you donate the money to charity and then hit John up for a donation from his own bank account, that’s fine. But that ain’t what she’s planning to do. Exit question: Why not at least wait until the DOJ investigation of Hsu’s bundled donations is over so you know which donors are clean and which aren’t?"

Someone named Brent said "Some GOP dork gets caught tapping his foot in the men’s room at MSP and it makes its way front and center on the Star’s webpage…but the fact that Shrillary has to give back close to a million dollars because it was from a known criminal, and it get buried."
I don't know why your surprised. the former was about sex and a Republican. The latter was about a Clinton and illegal campaign funds. What could be more natural?

Thanks Brent for the backup. I'm new here and I appreciate the validation. Being a newbie I'm trying to stay neutral and avoid insipid name calling.
Jason Lewis had a brilliant guest on tonight by the name of Phil Kent. I'm sure I'm being redundant as you fine people are much more in tune with these issues and I'm just getting my feet wet. Be gentle.

FA...it's not a problem.
Hell, does anyone honestly think that the $850,000 dollars that Shrillary is giving back came without strings?
And please people, don't think that I don't know that the GOP has it's own huge problems...but those stories make it to the front page...Democrat problems see to be buried if reported on at all.
Can anyone tell be what's going on with Jefferson and his freezer full of cash?
How about Diane Feinsten and her husband's company potentially receiving special favors because of DiFi's position?
You sure don't hear much in the paper about them now do you? But you SURE AS HELL get to read all of the details about Creepy Craig and his bathroom tap dancing show all OVER the place.
But, the MSM doesn't have a liberal bias as all...right?

You guys whine because she gets the donation. You whine because she doesn't return it the way you'd like. And then you whine because the strib doesn't have it plastered on the front page.

Wrong with the situation? That the Strib didn't have the story on the front page simply because brent demanded it be there? No. I see nothing wrong with the situation especially since the strib online version has almost exclusively, stories with local connections on the main page.
As for Jefferson, yeah, he should be gone. So what's you point?

As for Jefferson, yeah, he should be gone. So what's you point?
Doug...getting you to understand a simple point is like trying to get pajamas on a 17 month old who doesn't want to wear them!
We are not talking about Jefferson and why he hasn't done the honerable thing and resigned...or the fact that the Democrats seem content with keeping him around...what we are talking about here is the fact that when Republicans have something negative happen, it makes the front page. Republicans do something well, it gets burried.
If Democrats do something good, it gets the front page treatment...if the Democrats have something negative going on, it either gets spun by the MSM of burried inbetween clasified listings where few will see it.
But, of course, I don't expect you to be honest and see anything wrong with that because it favors you and the left. After all, isn't the MSM just an extension of the Democrat party?

You mean like when Ted Mondale was busted for drunk driving and made the front page? Apparently that wasn't good enough though because they didn't use the arrest photo in the story.
You're a news bias pimp brent. No condition will satisfy your demands.
Unless the strib starts to editorialize the way that FOX News and the entire GOP funded media machine does, you will continue to claim biases.

You're a news bias pimp brent. No condition will satisfy your demands.
Doug...you don't know me, and you certainly don't know what will satisfy me!
I will be satisfied when the Star Tribune comes out and is either honest and ballanced in their reporting, or they come on and admit that they liberal and print their stories accordingly.
I am NOT satisfied when they print stories and try to pass them off as "news" when all they do is get on their knees for anyone with a (D) after their name while attacking anyone who have a conservative thought in their head.
And, aside from FOX New, can you please elaborate on your "GOP funded media" claim...First of all, I would love to see the evidence that FOX is GOP funded. I'll freely admit that they tend to be conservative but they are also a lot more fair to the Democrats than any other MSM is towards the GOP.
Also, as far as I can tell, the GOP has FAR FEWED media machines than do Democrats...so, aside from Fox, can you please tell me what other MSM out there is conservative so I can start watching them more?

Pick any Clearstation Radio station. Then head on over to Salem Communications. Next, Sinclair stations. ABC / Disney.
And by the way brent, what exactly would you consider balanced in their reporting? does that mean that if a Republican gets busted, they should seek out a story about a democrat to provide your balance?
As for FOX being funded by the GOP, FOX gets exclusives from the Bush administration including interviews with the Pres and VP and the Petraeus hour long recap of his testimony.
According to Bob Woodward, in his book Bush At War, Roger Ailes, former consultant to Nixon Ford and Reagan, was sending political advice to the Bush administration through Karl Rove In return for - well, we can only guess...
News Corp - parent of FOX is a client of Rudy Giuliani and he gets frequent guest spots on Inshannity and Colmes.
Finally brent, you say,
"they are also a lot more fair to the Democrats than any other MSM is towards the GOP."

"And you creditability goes FLYING out the window when you make the claim that ABS and Disney are conservative!!!
It's ABC. ABS is sewer pipe. and Yes, ABC does have a conservative bias. It was ABC that refused to distribute Fahrenheit 9-11. It was ABC that produced the Clinton bashing Path to 9-11. WABC is the home for Sean Inshannity. Conservatives dominate the talking heads programs on Sunday mornings on ABC. ABC is allowing John Stossel free broadcast air time to attack Moore's Sicko which you have to pay for to see in a theater. Limbaugh started out as an employee of ABC. Paul Harvey who delivers backhanded subtle jabs at liberalism is an ABC personality. It was an ABC consultant at the center of a series of fraudulent interviews that accused Barack Obama of making statements that he never made in an interview that never happened.
