Pat Robertson is and always has been a complete nut. Have you ever watched the 700 Club? I promise you, Jesus won't even watch that drivel.
So today has been a weird one. Brownback gets behind McCain (say what!?) and Pat Robertson gets behind Giuliani.
Poor Fred, the "consistent conservative" can't get a single conservative endorsement. Maybe his refusal to support the "pro-life plank" of the Republican Party a few days ago had something to do with that? Who knows.
But really, endorsements from Brownback and Robertson carry zero weight. Since when has anyone cared what washed out Presidential Candidates who never won a Primary think?
Really is suprising Robertson is backing a social moderate though. I guess killing babies is better than voting for a godless Mormon?

I think this endorsement does more to lose Robertson credibility in the social conservative movement than it does to give Giuliani credibility.
The ONLY reason Robertson chose a pro-choice candidate over Romney has GOT to be his Mormonism. Glad to see religious bigotry is alive and well in the evangelical movement.

Wow. No God-juice behind FT, whatsoever. At this rate, he'd lose the primary to Mr. Potter from "It's a Wonderful Life." Has anyone detected a bump from his "Meet the Press" interview? Bueler?
Robertson's a nut alright, but he commands a legion of several million savior-starved Christian nutbags. His endorsement puts Rootie even further ahead, and makes it MUCH easier for evangelicals, tongue-speakers and snake-handlers to follow their natural small-minded bias. In the land of thumping Bibles, Mormonism is even creepier than a values-neutral New York neocon who'll protect them from the Worldwide Caliphate -- or whatever else happens to be the bobo boogie-man-du-jour.
In THAT world, Weyrich is the one who's lost credibility.
As for me, I'm rooting for Dobson. I think a third-party is a swell idea, and would be a useful civics lesson for all patriotic Americans. People who care about this country should encourage a third, fourth or even a fifth breakaway conservative party. Democracy is ALL about choice.

Trader,
Since you LOVE Rasmussen, you aren't going to love this:
"FLASH: To be released at 10 AM ET on RASMUSSEN: Romney breaks out 15-point lead over Giuliani in NH; up from 9 a month ago; 3-point lead in September..."
