Yep,
Didn't watch but heard Fred kicked ass. Good for him.
Heard he pounded Huck and McCain on behalf of the Reagan coalition and for that I thank him.
Plus it allowed Romney to not be as combative as usual.
I don't think Romney moved up in this debate, but Huck and McCain definitely moved down.

There's a great lesson for all of us in Fred's performance tonight:
"Always play the game like you have nothing to lose..."

Fred actually DOESN'T have anything to lose...since his only hope is a brokered convention. He may as well start lobbing bombshells and attacking the other candidates with a pig's-bladder on a stick.
What I can't believe is that Ron Paul was the only one on the dais who knew that even the US Navy is backtracking on its initial claims concerning the Iranian speedboat kerfuffle. It appears to have been a total non-event. But all the "adults" were ready to send the nasty brown people to the "Gates of Hell" and give them the "virgins" they've been hoping for.
Ugly, knee-jerk, jingoistic trash-talk does not a President make. Romney's admonition that Paul should "stop reading Ahmadinejad's press releases" was especially inept, since Paul's position was based on the Navy's own after-action assessment.
Then again, tough-talk against foreigners plays well with Southern GOPers, so I suspect this was mostly theater for the yokels.
