Trader,

Good news! Especially when you consider these pollsters are giving Democrats at least a 10 point edge in sampling over Republicans.

No wonder Obama is sicking the DOJ on that 527 running the Ayers Ad, they are doing their own internal polling without the 10 point Dem edge and they KNOW they are in deep trouble.

Although I am wholeheartedly in favor of Romney as his running mate (would almost assure a Michigan/Colorado win and thus the WH, I can't help but wonder if McCain's choice of a woman as his running mate (Sarah Palin) might blow this sucker out of the water?

The Left and their cohorts in the MSM have GOT to be sh*ttin their pants over this new Gallup poll.

Let the recriminations begin!

I have been thinking about it and here is why a GREAT speech by Hillary tonight will wound Obama.

If Hillary REALLY REALLY looks and sounds amazing, rather than uniting the party, won;t it make her followers more wistful and resentful than ever that she was not chosen as the nominee or VP?

Since they blame the MSM in large part for Hillary's loss and the MSM is so in the tank for Obama, aren't they then more likely to vote Mccain as payback?

A truly outstanding speech by Hillary tonight will be death for Obama.

Lol, Looks like the Obama people are now trying to deny Clinton her rollcall vote that she was promised.

lol, the wheels are coming off!

Viva infighting!

Hey Trader:

McCain-Pawlenty Looking Better Than McCain-Romney

DENVER—As Sen. John McCain comes to an end in his search for a running mate, there are new indications today that he is looking at Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty and not foe-turned-pal Mitt Romney. Sources close to Romney tell us that his camp has not had vice presidential talks and dealings for a while, leading them to believe that the other running mate topping McCain's list has edged him out. Of concern is the likelihood that the Democrats would dub a McCain-Romney ticket the richest ever. In fact, at a breakfast today, when I asked Michigan Sen. Debbie Stabenow if the Romney name would help in the industrial state once governed by his dad, she turned the question to Romney's wealth. She even added up the number of houses Romney and McCain have, coming to a total of 12. Though "the Romney name is well known" in Michigan, she says, the economic elitism label the Democrats would hit the ticket with would roll over Romney's brand name.

Could be meaningless misdirection, who knows - but this I do know, if McCain is going to pass on Romney, he needs to swing for the fences with Palin and not the unknown Pawlenty.

I saw Romney on FoxNews tonight and his body language indicated to me that it might be him. Lol, who knows. I like Pawlenty but he is just such an unknown and would probably provide zero bounce.

It will be like Paw-"who"?

You never know when you gear about "sources close to the candidate" - I mean, that could be anyone.

Despite liking Romney as much as I do, I still can't stop thinking what a brilliant stroke choosing Sarah Palin would be.

Palin or Romney are the only viables in my mind. Each bring certain positives.

Trader,

What do you think of Kay Bailey Hutchinson from TX? Too boring?

Too liberal.

Huh. Ok, don't know much about her.

Pro choice, immigration amnesty etc etc.
