I am looking forward to the time that those of us who do not have the resources to attend presidential fundraisers can have the opportunity to hear Edwards speak in person. Thank you for sharing that, Bloggerdad. If I cannot be there, it is beneficial to be able to experience these events through someone else's eyes.

I thought of that yesterday, Fullmoon. I know he must raise money and the timing was important. I dont see how even public funding could finance primary campaigns this far out. But I wish it could have been admission free and held in an outdoor forum. But then, I wonder how many would have come. Maybe a lot. I thought this morning to send him a message and ask him to come back and speak to everyone.

Much of what he said can be found on his campaign website, but his delivery adds so much to the message. As I listened it occurred to me that was one of the best final arguments I ever heard.

Gravatar Interesting ideas. That one about educating every child in the world especially--considering that there are still cultures in existence today that don't view girl children as worth educating. Changing that view alone would be a huge positive shift. Leveling the world playing field in terms of education and poverty would be treating the cause. A war on terrorism simply treats the symptom.

Gravatar Way to go Bloggerdad! I can't wait to hear Edward's next speech so I can say "ya know Bloggerdad brought up that point that he's addressing."
