I know your post on the matter took a different, more spiritually-based approach, but my point in connecting these two items -- which I didn't fully articulate -- is that I think people are starting to wake up. People are reading things like your post, Sylvia, and thinking, "I'm tired of this every-man-for-himself crap." And then I read the article about John Edwards and realized that there's a viable candidate for the U.S. presidency who's talking about this stuff, and taking a real leadership position on it. Even though you're in Canada, I think we may have been going through similar enough issues that the two items can be connected.
In short, it really is time for this era to end, and I think it is ending.
