This is, of course, a very sweeping generalization. I have a friend who married a man from Chile. She met him in the states where he was getting his Ph.D. There are also plenty, and I mean plenty of lazy people in the States who don't discipline their children either. I don't know that undisciplined 4 year olds are the biggest problem in and of itself. Many eastern cultures, and I'm specifically thinking of Japan here, but it exists in other places as well, allow their children to run free and spoil them horribly up to a certain age and the discipline kicks in full force. I always felt bad for these kids, that has to be one rude awakening for them.

What really bugs me is our Governments support of those wishing to come here to work. It's dutch door action. We're both being screwed. The US job market is screwed by people working for 2 dollars an hour and the Homeland is screwed because those willing to work for a better life are leaving the country.
a month and a half, JAC, a month and a half...i get a whole month off for Xmas. maybe we all can get together with a fire and cigars like that one time before...love ya, man.
oh, i'm pissed! this roommate that the school dumped on me this past wednesday has a guy staying the night without even TELLING me, let alone asking if it was okay. it's almost midnight, and i can't sleep because there's a strange guy here. i'm royally ticked off! this is NOT good!
