Gravatar First!

(Oops! Wrong blog....)

Well, if Ann Coulter is opposed to him and the junior senator from NY favors him, case closed.

Probably another David "Liberal In Conservative's Clothing" Souter.

Gravatar 1. We will not know until this guy actually decides a case.
2. Your opinion has no influence on his confirmation.
3. Ms Clinton is an oportunistic self-serving politician, who did not say anything about this nomination until the tea leaves had already settled. She risks nothing and looks like a "team player". Put no credibility in her actions in this instance. She is simply climbing on a bandwagon that has already left the station. She sees his confirmation as a done deal and only the loonies will hold the line. Loonies don't get to be President of the USA.

Gravatar INH makes a good point in #3 about Clinton. I’d add to it that since GWB represents the Ted Kennedy wing of the Republican Party, we can expect a judge that does also.

Face the facts folks. Those in high public office attend the same schools as each other, where they learn the same liberal positions. The only difference in their governing philosophy, is which special interest group they are going to pander to. GWB pandered right, but that doesn’t mean he’s going to deliver anything of substance. Sure Clinton is more reptilian than Bush, but that doesn’t mean they have any real differences between them.

The Republicans could, by legislative directive, effectively reverse Roe V Wade tomorrow. They won’t ever, ever, ever do it. It’s a hot button issue that keeps money rolling in and the mindless masses working hard to keep electing Republicans. There are judges that would reverse the trend against constitutional law in a second, but no Republican will ever place them in a high enough position to do it. Getting money for campaigns and keeping the faithful diligent in their work is much to important to risk losing by actually DOING ANYTHING to restore the republic.

Gravatar Nate, that is very interesting. I notice that Hillary is mellowing out on the abortion issue - possibly this is just a move to show how 'moderate' she is to the voters when it comes time for the presidential election.

I don't put much stock in her endorsement just yet.

Gravatar There's this rumor going around that Roberts in an unknown. He's well known in DC. He's a very social go. GW is not a conservative any more than Chuck Schumer. I'll agree that he's smart alright, and that he's not going to appoint a conservative.

Gravatar BOHICA. Move along people... nothing new here.... nothing to see...

Gravatar The Beast from AK is just running right to get the vote and will govern back to the left.

However, Nate still has something.

Gravatar Crystal Lake is right. The Lizard Queen has been pretending to creep toward the center for months now, so this is not proof. Now if Chuck "E. Cheese" Schumer endorses him, I'll be afraid.

Gravatar She will never mellow on the abortion thing. The left can see the invisible wink she gives when she "centers" herself. The can hear her speak out of the other side of her face.
She's like Arafat used to be. In fact, a lot like Arafat.

Gravatar Boys... She can't afford to let a conservative on the court. The balance could shift to the point that the court could become a legitimate threat when she's president.

Gravatar Priorities, Nate. Hillary knows she has to lose some battles, and she knows she has to be more Pro-Bush because in return Bush always rewards those that give him little if any trouble on the Democratic side. Once that presidential power is all hers, it's over, she won.

Her main objective is to get there, by any means necessary. That sort of power can tilt the victories back in her favour, but for now, she has to give ground and lose.

Gravatar "Boys... She can't afford to let a conservative on the court. The balance could shift to the point that the court could become a legitimate threat when she's president."

She plans on becoming dictator in 2008, and ruling by excutive order. She could care less if JR is a conservative.

Gravatar The only people I hear talking about Hillary for President are conservatives and Republicans. I don't think she'll run.

And you guys already have her marked as President three years before the election.

Gravatar Brittney,

Its not like we want her for president, but the Republicans have failed to do anything conservative for this country. Its unlikely they will run anyone with any values different from hers. GWB is almost identical to her, except she has a bigger penis.

Gravatar "GWB is almost identical to her, except she has a bigger penis."

I can already see Hillary throwing out the first pitch at Howard Stern's next strap-on baseball tournament. She'll defy those terrorists like Bush did too.

Gravatar Hahaha. Listen, if she's elected, she'll be the last president this country ever sees. I promise.
