Of course... We don't really give a damn what they think!

I guess that's a good thing.....
But I wish they were a little bigger.

I think that's great! Are they going under or over the muscle do you know? Makes a differnce in how painful the recovery. For the life of me I have no idea why some people (usually, but not always women) have such a thing about plastic surgery. I've known about as many women who have augmentation as I do women who have had reductions. I figure it all balances out!

Wow, I just noticed the last line of the post. It's friday already?! Time moves differently when the kids are sick, that's for sure! Now, if the last one would just hurry up and get it I'll be home free!

"Time moves differently when the kids are sick, that's for sure!"
You think it moves faster or slower?
When BR or ZR are sick I think it slows down... depending on what they have/had. When they are puking, it doesn't slow down enough... for me to get them to the toilet or a bucket.
Although both of them are pretty good when they are sick, the time we had to take ZR to the hospital because of pneumonia sure seemed to slow down then.
Re: Breasts
I went to college with a girl who had a reduction... She was a tall (6'1") and her chest being so huge (I think she wore the bras from the 50s where they make your breasts stick staight out) she was quite the sight. Very nice girl.
Her confidence soared after she came back from summer break with a more "normal" sized chest.

As Sir Mix-a-lot said in his immortal contribution to music titled "I like Big Butts" these words sum up my dismay; "Silicone parts are made for toys." Why guys go for fake and obviously enhanced breasts I just don't get.

Oh and the girl was 19 years old when this took place.
Anyways... I don't have a preference really for getting reductions or increases. Personally I like them all just the way they are.
The only reason I see for a reduction would be for medical reasons, back issues, etc.
I don't care for the inceases when they are made to look fake. Like they would burst if you touched them. *shudder* To me that screams, PORN.

MR - sometimes faster, sometimes slower depending on what's happening. But with chickenpox, it's more of a "I have no idea what day it is as they've all melded together as we are stuck in the house" kind of way.

MA,
You're point is valid when you're talking about going from say.... A to DD..
But understand.. Kristy is a chick with the body for C's... and well she probably doesn't even have A's... so... It will look far more "natural" for her to have the new ones.
She's just gettin' them in proportion to the rest of her body... and I for one am thrilled with the idea.

I saw a program on tv about surgeries. A teenage girl and her mother were both getting breast implants.
To see both of their boobs - damn, they were the smallish size of a moderately overweight man. I don't think you could even hold them in your hands. The girl also wanted to get a liposuction done on her hips because one side had more fatty deposits than the other. She looked fabtastic after recovery.
Don't you just love those surgery programs? I love seeing them do the surgery. There was one program where a child was getting surgery for cancer that had spread over her kidneys. They filmed part of the operation, got to the part where the doctor took the kidney out. The Mother wanted to see the cancer. So, they dropped the child's kidney+cancer mass in a styrofoam cup and sent a nurse to the waiting room. Damn, nasty looking. I couldn't tell where the kidney ended and the cancer began.

Well, as they say: "Sizce doesn't matter".
Would that our society paid as much attention to the inside as they do to the outside. Wouldn't that make a great TV special -- "Metaphysical Make-overs"?

SB - I'm curious, did any of the babies doctors push you guys for a chicken pox vaccine?
We went through that up here, and I evetually told the doc, look, if I find someone in the neighborhood with them, we're going for a playdate. That's the only vaccine she'll be getting, or needing.
RE: Boobs - My wife is blessed with a rather remarkable set herself, but someday maybe she'll want them augmented, for maybe backpain or something. Fun right now though.

Billy,
It's a matter of risk versus rewards, as are a lot of medical decisions. According to About.com, about 100 people die each year from complications related to chicken pox. According to this page, about 0.07% have adverse reactions to the vaccine, and only 0.003% have "serious" reactions.
Now, considering that it's probably several hundred thousand cases of chicken pox per year, odds are that you (or your kid) won't die. But you have to weigh the various risks of both paths.

Chicken pox as a kid is just a little problem. I had them in my teens and it was difficult to breathe because I had them in my throat.
If you make to your 20’s or 30’s you should really consider the vaccines, otherwise if you get em as a kid its one week of staying home from school and you never worry about it again.

The MMR vaccine was developed using human fetus DNA. My sister researched the vaccines that her children were due for, and decided against them because she found stuff such as mercury, antifreeze, human DNA. Makes me hesitant to have that stuff injected into the bloodstream of any children I might have one day.

"we would have the biggest tv out there"
That is funny, cause I drool every time I go to Best Buy. I always bring BR or ZR by the LCD / Plasma displays and tell them all about them. I can tell they are duly impressed by my knowledge. They do like the pretty fishes (or whatever is showing on them) though.
I would like to get a 32" LCD for our bedroom, mount it on the wall at the foot of the bed. And then at least a 46 inch Plasma for the Family room. But then I would feel guilty about NOT watching them. Well I am sure that BR and ZR would love Mr. Rogers in High Def.

From what I know, my little research, about CP. If you do not get them as a kid and you were exposed to them you are very unlikely to get them ever.
Or if you do it will be extremely mild and may be mistaken for a cold.
My sister had a very bad case of CP. I was exposed to her throughout and never got anything.
Although I have told the boy's Ped about me not having them and she said that while I may be safe, I should probably still leave the premises for the duration. And from the way BillyD is talking maybe I should work in a nice long business trip if CP shows up at our household.

So far only NumberOne and TeenyTiny have gotten them, they were likely exposed at the same time. Since Beauty hasn't come down with it yet we will wait and see if she does. I've actually been hoping they would get them pretty soon so it's all good.
We don't vaccinate in this house until the kids are older and certainly not for this. I had them in jr high and I was very sick. I had them everywhere and I do mean everywhere. Hard time eating because they were in my mouth and throat. Everylast one of them was infected and I have a couple of impressive scars from them. I think if Beauty doesn't get them by the time she's a teenager I will give her the option of getting vaccinated. Reports vary with regards to adults getting them and how sick they get.
I was asked when NumberOne was born if we wanted the vaccination, but I wasn't pushed. I understand that is changing and this may become one of the required ones. Idiocy.
