Gravatar *S* Dude, you rock..

Gravatar Oh - damn..the rules..okay.

1. Alcohol: Nothing, unless you count that dijon mustard I had. I am hankering for a nice glass of cider and wine right now, though.

2. Tobacco: Uhhh...no, I'm going to live my old age emphysema free thank you very much.

3. Firearms: I haven't seen a real firearm since after 9/11 when the guys guarding the entrance to the military base with these impressive looking guns on their hips. Freaked me out.

4. Boobs: I'm glad Kristy's okay. I ain't giving my bra size. (relax, that was supposed to be a joke. Lame, huh?)

Gravatar OK, here is my week. I went to work, everyday this week, and on wednessday I filled up my truck. Before it ws filled I stopped at $50.00. Freak that. So I decided to ride my Moto the rest of the time. Yesterday was a breeze with my helmet and protective gear and no problems.Today was a different story.

Now remember I ride a DRZ400S, that is a 400cc 4 stroke motocross bike with a headlight and blinkers. Top speed 77mph where the power band turns over. Well going to work was a pleasure, nice cool 69F. Comming back was a different story. I was on a side road going about 50 mph when some asshole decided he wanted my lane. Instead of hitting the breaks and hoping to avoid him, I down shifted to third and turned the throttle wide open. My Bike stood up like a prairie dog in a hunters scope. Needles to say the asshole not only then saw me but got a tounge lashing from me at the next light. I got off my bike and went there and had a little converstion with that dumb teenager. I thought he was gonna cry. Maybe next time he will watch a little closer, but I doubt it.

Gravatar Late entrance for me... Boobs? Well defined pectorals. Chicks love it. Alcohol? It was some Bacardi Breezers (the chick drinks) for a bit, then some 2003 McLaren Vale red wine (we got the world's best wineries in this state), then back to my celebrated local tinnies for a top-off, finishing the last few off now. Chicks love it. Tobacco? None. Firearms? Now where did I put that potato gun...

Gravatar hey! the strawberry wine was my idea!!! and i ain't there to enjoy it! that ain't fair!

Gravatar 'Maybe next time he will watch a little closer, but I doubt it.'

Ah, you never know, Gregg.

Gravatar Hrm... Crystal... lemme guess... 34B? Forgive me.. you were wearin' a sweatshirt for cryin out loud.

Gravatar Nate, I am just shocked that you would even guess!! You have...flabbergasted me!

I wore sweatshirts and loose jeans because I didn't like getting any attention for my appearance, whether positive or negative. It always made me feel uncomfortable. I'm not the show-off type.

Gravatar I'm conflicted as to how I'm going to respond to 10:06...

Gravatar Oh come on, we're just blokes trying to get some insight here! We require *information* and *data* because, well, we're like that!

Steve Stifler put it best I believe.

Gravatar "It always made me feel uncomfortable. I'm not the show-off type."

By the way, if it makes you feel better, I've danced on the top of the roof of a car on a main highway in only my underwear, with beer in hand. I was busting moves for a music video. It's on tape, people have this evidence. I'm not ashamed to be known as a wanker, and the ladies, they love it.

Gravatar It's ok Darlin'.. you can always give us a coy smile and say somethin' like "you'll never know"

Or..

You can play it cool and say.. "they're 36c actually... and yes.. they're spectacular."

Either way... we still love ya baby.

I just said to get a rise outta ya anyway.

Gravatar I never thought anybody'd have the nerve to do that, Nate. I was surprised and half-tempted to confirm/deny ('you'll never know'..hehehe) your speculation!

'I just said to get a rise outta ya anyway.'

Well, you succeeded! What was that? Payback for my transsexual comment earlier?

Gravatar Jamie, well, you see we got very separate personalities...I'd DIE if I was caught in my underwear like that! You wouldn't see me dancing with a beer...more like curled on the ground in a fetal position, or running to the nearest blanket/ robe/article of clothing.

Gravatar Well Nate, I'm not a huge fan of the Dead, but "Drivin' That Train" rings a bell with me because it's about Casey Jones, and that train wreck happened in Vaughn, Mississippi, about 25 miles north of me.

Legend is, around these parts, aanywaay, is Casey was so drunk he waited too long to jump.

Gravatar "Jamie, well, you see we got very separate personalities...I'd DIE if I was caught in my underwear like that!"

Eh, I was a fair few under. As long as a smile is being brought to someone's face, or laughter, my work is done here...

Gravatar One more I thought of, Nate: Peace Train by Cat Stevens, before he went goat-humper. If you like accoustical guitar, that's a great song.

Gravatar Australia Rocks. specially with rock-heads like you Jamie. How's your weather....cold for down under, or is this your fall?

Gravatar Cold! I can't deal with any temperature below 70, this is indoors weather. I'm looking forward to summer again. Not the biggest fan of winter, spring is coming in September, I'll be waiting.

Gravatar Take another shot, call me in December....you'll be fine

Gravatar In December I'll be loving it! That's beach weather! Beach volleyball weather!

"I never thought anybody'd have the nerve to do that, Nate."

If you were dating Ben Affleck, I could say you were fair game, I mean, I'd go full tilt at you in that situation, but since you're not dating Ben Affleck, I'll back off.

But as Nate says, 'we still love ya baby', or in Down Under speak "hey, you're an alright type, fair dinkum."

Gravatar I shipped SR and her mom off to Traverse City (hold yer left hand up, facing away from you... that would be right about where the tip of the little finger meets the ring finger), for a couple days of girl time.
For those that don't know... Michigan is shaped like a glove (for the nice balmy winters).

So it is just the boys and I and they are currently asleep although we did have a blast tonight. I was actually good and got them to bed at a decent hour, 9:30.

Hey Nate, aren't you afraid that you are gonna warp Jeb's mind with all that animated violence?

Yeah, I am kidding... BR and now ZR have our own bed time rituals. Involves some singing and lots of story telling.

Gravatar And for the BATF...
B: Um, they are in Traverse City.
A: None. Though there is some in the fridge. First time in a long time.
T: None.
F: Looking at some H&Ks as well as trying to find some ranges (indoor or out) near Beech Mountain, NC. We are heading down there in about a week, for a week, to spend some time with SR's family (one family has 8 "kids", most of them are married now so their kids will be along). I heard the "log cabin" has 18 bedrooms.

Gonna have some fun down south!

Gravatar Late to the party - story of my life!

Glad to hear Kristy came through it all okay.

Guiness was the drink of the day here.

Gravatar Mikes hard lemonade last night.
Tobacco was Marlboro, which is supposed to enf Monday.
No firearms involved.
Boobs were the standard issue wife set. Large and fun.

Gravatar Cheap wine last night. A big ol' jug of the stuff. Chablis.

I don't like sweet wines. But this was okay.

Red wine stains the teeth too much. And it stains when ya spill it from havin' one glass too many.

Boobs? Saw some on Playboy channel.

Firearms? Well, I played a Half-Life mod called Gunman Chronicles that was not bad.

Gravatar Nate, My favorite train song is by Blackfoot "Train,Train"

No booze

No tobacco

Still looking for a nice .22 wheelgun to use around the farm, and practice shooting, something similar in size and weight to the Model 19 .357.

Boobs, Mrs. Farmer says I can't give any details except to say that hers are perfect.

Gravatar B: Ummmmm Boobs, what more needs to be said?

A: None this weekend. I'm smoking up about 85 lbs of meat for a church BBQ and using a friends smoker so I'm driving back and forth a lot. Course tomorrow I've got to run kids to camp so I'll be gone all day.

T: Ummm boobs again, I like this thread.

F: This week was a blast at the range not only did we run a lot of 45 drills but I ran the course with the M1A. Good times.

Gravatar "You got a favorite train song?"

Crazy Train by Ozzy.

BATF: None of the above, a slow weekend over here.

Gravatar Res, you may have mentioned it before but what kind of course do you run?
IDPA?

Gravatar BATF Update - New bottle of Tarantula Tequila. Tomorrow morning could be rough.

Gravatar Tarantula!!!

F'in A!!

ROCK ON Brotha!

Gravatar Oh, what did everyone here think of the movie Cold Mountain?

Gravatar Rented it, watched about 30 minutes into it and it started skipping. Took it back and still have a credit at the video store. That was about five months ago.
From what I saw, I liked it if a bit depressing.

Gravatar MR,

It's IDPA, mostly sometimes we get a little crazy and mix things up a bit.

Every once in awhile we run transition drills, all head shots, pins, plates etc. Not exactly reg IDPA but we have lots of fun.

Only a handful of the guys keep their standings certified so they can compete around the region.

Gravatar Still recuperating from surgery. No treats for me this week.
