Well Nate, we're slowing waking up on the West Coast here. After Katrina and the confiscation and such, one of the talk radio hosts who was in National Guard unit in Iraq a year has actually broached the question of "At what point do you shoot the bastards?" Our radio station in Seattle is pretty good, (the morning guy is from the South and belives the South was right) but the hosts always stepped around the question of when it was time to take on the government by means other than voting. Not now.

The far left and the far right being the same reminds me of the Star Trek episode where kirk, spock, lincoln and the Vulcan founder fight Genghis Khan, the colonel and two other baddies. The rock creature who set up the experiment said he couldn't tell the difference between their ways of fighting. kirk then explains how their goals are so very different. Similar means but vastly different goals.
