Right on.

The liberal mag at school is running a special issue devoted to the "Rape Crisis" which has apparently overwhelmed campus.

There have also been innumerable stories and op-eds about rapes and "forcible fondlings" in the school newspaper.

Not in a single one of those stories or op-ed pieces in either publication was it suggested that nubile coeds carry a gun with them as they walk back from a frat party at 2am dressed in a mini skirt and see-through blouse.

Rape, to me, seems pretty easy to prevent. I wonder how many women with CC permits are raped?

Gravatar The police can't save you, and even when they can they usually don't.

Of course not, do you know how long it takes to set up a perimeter and jam the mags backwards into their special "assault" weapons?
I'd rather storm the gates of hell throwing ice cubes then rely on the police for anything that didn't require citations for minor infractions.

Gravatar Everyone knows the police motto: To Protect and Serve.

What few people realize is the second have of that motto... see... in its complete form it reads:

To Protect and Serve Those in Power.

Gravatar What does the family of the dead woman want? The police to knock down the door and start firing for every single 911 call they get? I hope not.

Good for guy in article two. He taught those punks a useful lesson. Hopefully they remember it.

Gravatar I don't understand people's willingness to wait for the cops.

The worst advise I heard on all those cop shows from the dispatchers to the victims: "Stay where you are, and don't do anything, the police should arrive any minute." Famous last words.

I started losing my trust in the Pohlese when they pulled a gun on my new bride at a routine traffic stop...on my honeymoon.

The only consolation, is that the black cop calmed the white cop down. Black cops are more trustworthy IMO.

Gravatar When seconds count... the police are only minutes away.

Gravatar Cops protect themselves and serve warrants.

Its an uncomfortable truth for a lot of people... particularly women.

If 911 worked as advertised, preventing rape would be as easy as carrying a cell phone.

It is with the latest product offering from Apple, the iGlock!

Gravatar At least spell the words used for the links correctly.

You spell 'article' right later in the post.

You're gonna make some poor english teacher's head explode someday.

Gravatar Mispelled words do torture me so.

Seriously. If an english teacher's head explodes... I consider that a public service.

Gravatar Fred Reed had an excellent column about the utter uselessness of english teachers.

Gravatar I can honestly say I use cross-muliplying once in a blue moon for percentages.

I cannot recall EVER diagraming a friggin' sentence after high school.

Aye. It's hard to prevent rape when you're wearing easily accessible slutwear, stumbling home drunk and alone (except the cell phone stuck to your ear, like it knows kung fu), gun or not.

Seriously, at some point stupid gets what it deserves...and if you're too stupid to figure out why there's almost always a poor black community that's butt up against major campuses, you're too stupid to be armed and stay relatively sober.
