Gravatar Lucky. I cannot find the thing. Of course, I can't reserve one because the wife doesn't want me to drop 250 in advance.

I love the baseball game. Simple gaming is coming back!

Gravatar We were able to play with the brother-in-law's Wii this summer a little. It is a lot of fun. Hubby and I played the tennis game until my shoulder started getting sore from serving. (Usually when we play "for real", we just hit back and forth without serving because it's more exercise without the stops and he's way better than I am.) Eventually we'd like to get a Wii, but we'll wait a little longer.

Gravatar Heh. We were looking to get a Wii for the kiddies this year (yeah, for the kids, that's the ticket!), and knew of the availability problems. So, Mrs Bill and I started ordering the things. We now have one in hand, box-stock, paid $250. We have two on order that should be here next week, one box-stock, one bundle, we paid normal retail for both. OFF TO EBAY!!

Gravatar I heard that Wiivailability shouldn't be a problem this year, as production is keeping up with sales and they have stock-in-hand to deal with the increased holiday demand.

Is it a regional issue, then?

Gravatar Julie bought ours at Best Buy just because they actually had them.

No one in Nashville or Kentucky has had them so far this christmas season.

Gravatar The Targets near me have the Wii...I guess they sent them all to Colorado?

Gravatar The Wii?

Next thing you know Nate'll be talking up how great macs are, driving a VW, and patronizing starbucks.

Gravatar 1) Nate always has and alway will despize all things Apple.

2) The VW Beetle (the real one... not that stupid thing they make now) is one of the all time great feats of engineering.

3) The best coffee in the world is found at truck stops. Seriously. This isn't debateable.

There is nothing "mac" about a wii. Its the cheapest of the systems... and unlike a Mac... it is legitimately different than the others. So while the Xbox 360 is, and always will be my favorite... there is always room for the Wii. What I have no use for... is the playstation 3.

I have a grill outside. I don't need one for the living room.

Gravatar The Wii is neat and fun. The timing on some of the movements is hard to get down, but it's still a joy to play on.

We've had some drunken boxing matches at a friend's house before. Makes for fun times.

It's also slightly kinky to watch two hot chicks box on that thing.

I think I need help.

Gravatar Maybe now you can get yourself in shape.

Gravatar We got a Wii earlier this year and the girls love it. I got a used copy of Rampage for me to play. It's fun destroying San Francisco.

Incidentally, my 8-year old is the heavyweight champ in boxing at our house. It's great fun watching her play tennis too. She doesn't just swing the racquet, she runs back and forth across the room and dives like her mii does. I'm amazed she hasn't done a headfirst into the couch.
