SPOILER... in case anyone can't be bothered to spend thirty seconds watching the video *before* reading this:
Saw that one coming a mile away. Although I was thinking in more general terms, like "the average voter." That wouldn't have worked so well from a comedic standpoint, however. What movie is that?

Hehehehehe.
That's funny.
Of course, it could also apply to Republicans.

Did BH really feel that way or was that just the way the script went?
Good for him if he did.
BTW. Will a Hollywood movie ever have an actor utter disparaging jokes on the Dems ever again?

Good one, DJ! I cannot help but concur, the 3 Monkey supporters are just as unthinking. I had a lady at work about pop a gasket when I asked her what the point of our Iraqi Adventures was. And she had two kids IN THEATER!
Man, this post and comments are on a freaking roll!

They're zombies! So THAT'S how all those dead people get to the polls on election day.
Slightly OT - Let me take this opportunity to recommend the book 'World War Z'...soon to be a movie.
My only gripe with WWZ it was the 'mobilization' angle where the government (rightly from the writer's perspective) nationalizes pretty much everything to combat the zombie menace.
What he did get right, though, was how the US federal government - empowered by the zombie crisis - would deal with 'secessionist' groups.
That story line was never developed; but apparently the feds directed a good portion of their resources to wiping out 'secessionist' groups (and whole states) that wanted to go their own way or failed to get on-board with the government's zombie policies.
Slavering fondness for big government and the UN aside, it was a pretty good book about strategies for adapting and surviving during a societal melt-down.
It ought to make a decent movie.

And BTW -
It IS Friday. My Sig 556 is on order...expecting about one month (!) before it ships.
They are apparently very popular rifles right now...a lot of them supposedly being bought up by various agencies and contractors.
Any recomendations on a scope and/or electronic sight? The ACOGs you typically see these things sporting cost almost as much as the rifle...and my gun money is about tapped out.

Still looking for a .308. I got the Kel-tec SU16D you recommended - very enjoyable, thanks. I like the looks (and price) of the Savage rifles, but haven't fired one, heard much about them, don't know the effectiveness of such compared to M1A, FAL etc. Durability and reliability (and effectiveness of course) are my primary concerns.

Alright, I've got a bourbon quandary:
1792 or Russell's Reserve?
1792 is among my favorites, but both are on considerable discount at the local BevMo, and I'm wonderin' if I should give the Russell's a try.
Thoughts?

I keep meaning to try them all, Huck. But Booker's was on sale this week, so I deprived myself and bought that. Plus a nice English gin.
Too bad the Arturo Fuente's I bought were way more harsh than the one I tried last time.
Maybe I just need to stick with the first store?
