Heh. You do realize that tomorrow is Buy Nothing Day, don't you Nate?

Happy Thanksgiving. Thanks for keeping it real.

BTW, what do you use for bandwidth on the land yacht? Cell phone? Clearwire? Carrier pigeons to EP?

Gravatar Happy Belated Thanksgiving to y'all.

So, what do you need so desperately at Walmart? Or are you just showing off your RV?

Gravatar Not so easy to keep safe in a thing like that ey Nate. Don't have a fence and dogs marching around that thing. And if it looks abandoned then the kiddies might want to have a look see.

Gravatar Oh, I bet you spent your fair share of time raising ruckus.

Gravatar "Get a life", said the goober in the huge RV, from the Wal-Mart parking lot.

Good evening, Mr. Pot. Meet Mr. Kettle.

Gravatar Asphalt cowboys.

Gravatar Well, you guys escaped against Kentucky.

Wake Forest also escaped, against Vandy.

Gravatar actually Anon... I was hoping UK would win big.

Gravatar jml
Camping out in the walmart parking lot while you're in town to see kin is hardly a lack of a life.

Its free. And everything you could possible need is a short walk away.

So.. if you really want to compare your thanksgiving to mine... I'll be glad to break out the menu and activities... but I'll wager I had more fun.

So what was on the menu?

We had all the normal stuff at three sets of in-law's. (Mmmmm, sweet potatoes...) Part two is next weekend with my side of the fam. The fun part will be teaching my brother how to cook.

Anyone fry a turkey?

Gravatar Oops, that was me. I'm still at the in-law's and forgot about the lack of cookies.

Gravatar Even if UT gets killed by LSU, Fulmer won't get fired, and UT will continue to slog along in mediocrity.

Really, is Fulmer any different from Loyd Carr?

Gravatar Lloyd Carr has better one liners to the media.

Gravatar "Really, is Fulmer any different from Loyd Carr?"

Fulmer wouldn't be replaced with Les Miles.

Gravatar Hehehehe.. well said WB.

and why wouldn't Les want to go back to the pansy big10? Up there he can dominate a pathetic confress and hit the BCS almost every year.. while ESPN blows him nightly simply for coaching Meeeeechigan.

As opposed to facing the murderers row that the SEC has become... He can just go stomp Indiana... and when he beats mediocre teams like Penn St or Wisconsin or Ohio st.. everyone will act like he won the game of the century.

Gravatar As for UT's next coach... I vote for Mangino... or better yet...John Gruden.

Gravatar Boo Michigan.

Gravatar Nate: "and why wouldn't Les want to go back to the pansy big10? Up there he can dominate a pathetic confress and hit the BCS almost every year."

Unlike the "mighty" SEC, where he dominates the conference and hits the BCS almost every year...

Besides the fact that he played at UM and coached under Bo, it could also be that he's looking for a REAL challenge. After all, he waltzed in and made the rest of the SEC his bitches the very first year -- so really, how tough can it be down there?

Gravatar Wendy -- phlllllllllbbbbbbbttt!

Gravatar Yeah, this weekend I heard a lot of rumors about that one guy taking over for that other guy when he retires after this season...something about his contract allowing an out to coach at UofM.

WB, one does not grow up in Washington liking UofM. I'm pretty indifferent when it comes to college teams, though I miss the old Rose Bowl format. It's fun to get reactions out of UofM fans.

You have to love the Preds home schedule, Nate. So far they've had ten home games playing against a team that's played the night before while the Preds rested. The next passel of home games are like that too. Talk about a cushy schedule...

Gravatar Wendy: "...something about his contract allowing an out to coach at UofM."

Actually, the "out" is a buy-out required if he leaves LSU. They knew when he came in that he'd leave LSU for UM in a heartbeat if offered the opportunity, so they put a poison pill in his contract to dissuade him.

Problem is, depending on the source, it's either $500K if he goes anywhere, or $1.25M if he goes to Michigan. Probably both.

Gravatar UofM can afford it. They waste money in every other way.

I know a guy that works there who wasn't too concerned about keeping his job, so he volunteered for every project doomed for failure. Then he learned that's how one gets a promotion.
