Oh my god. I would have freaked out. That is so city tough ass attitude and I hate it. Like in NYC we have those hardass people in Paris, as you know. i hope you wrote a letter to the Manager's manager her higher ups. her understanding and level of communication, by this account, sound absolutely unacceptable.
Oh, that is so awful! I can't believe you had to go through even MORE evilness from that terrible woman. I'm glad you found a place for your stuff (withOUT her help, that mean b.....) It's jut unbelievable how cruel these housing people can be. I have another friend and on HER lease, the BACKDATED it by 15 days! They have her paying rent from BEFORE she even saw the apartment! So keep alert until this is all over and done and let us know if there is anything we can do.

That SAME exact thing happened to me when I moved here from Chicago! Thank goodness my friend from college was in town and I could crash at her place for 3 days while CitiHabitat took their sweeta@@ time getting me the keys. That's why the next time I move---will be OUT of New York City. I'm sorry this happened to you too. 
Juanita, stop power-tripping! I'm sure she's got some bad karma coming her way with how she treated you! Thank goodness for friends!!!
