The harmless creeps on flickr are many; just ignore them. if they seem fetishistic and more than harmless, block! but of course people came out of the woodwork to comment on this dress; it's fantastic, and the mods just make it yours. I certainly would never have known that it wasn't always intended to look exactly like this.

re: the random dudes on Flickr - I usually look at the groups they are in or their favorites. If it's all weird fetish pics, I usually block. Generally, I don't reciprocate unless I know someone or they know someone I know. If it's obviously a crafter, like you said, I'll add them back.

i laughed out loud while reading this post... re you "fudging" things... i feel like i do that all the time in my sewing it it, almost always, turns out for the better!
awhile ago some random weirdos started putting some of my photos as their favorites (like my feet in sandals, etc.) so, i made the decision to put many of my photos as only available to friends and family. that has, cut the weirdos out! yay!
again, the dress is excellent as are the photos!

That is really great fabric. I love how from a distance it would look mostly white with the tiniest stripes of color, but that it is much more complex and interesting looking up close.
