Gravatar Go you, with your finger on the pulse of the knitting world!

BTW, I love Ms. Gilbert's latest mittens too.

Gravatar Love the Embossed Leaves experiment, I must say I was tempted to try them toe-up as well but was too daunted, nice work!!

Gravatar Mm, Embossed Leaves, such a gorgeous pattern. Are you standing on a table in that last sock photo?

Gravatar I love the Embossed Leaves pattern too - isn't it addictive? I'm knitting my second pair right now, and contemplating a third. I like that cabled scarf - beautiful color.

Gravatar I love the Embossed Leaves Pattern too! I've done it twice and now have a colorway for me! The toe-up version look awesome! The scarf is gorgeous too!

Gravatar grrrrr. . . begone curl!! you don't belong on such a lovely scarf.

Gravatar Are you seriously stood on a table to take that picture? Now THAT'S dedication.

Gravatar The socks are gorgeous!

Gravatar Is that Debbie Bliss Cashmerino. I'm about to start a sweater for Master P and I don't want it to stretch! Should I knit a smaller size?

Gravatar oh....i will look for the scarf in case it reaches here!
i love it......you are one pattern making chic!

695? why haven't i cast on for these beauties?
your mom is going to LOVE them!

Gravatar what a neat idea and a new skill to add to your list! you are so right -there is such a wealth of patterns to knit out there right now - Ravelry isn't helping either!

Gravatar Since I am addicted to toe-up socks, I might have to try your version! Very cute. And I'm am totally hating the scarf-roll with you. There are so many nice patterns that run into that problem.

Gravatar Veronique, they both look great! I especially love the colour of the socks. It's funny, I'm the total opposite of you -- I can't deal with knitting sweaters (I can and I have knit them, but I just don't feel compelled to do more), but I love small things. Mind you, if I had the same patience that you have to get a really good fit and make really beautiful sweaters, it would be a different story.

Gravatar Love those wintergreen mitts! And love your orange embossed leaves socks - great colour. I really like the widdershins heel for my toe up socks. Stay warm!

Gravatar Love that you knit the socks both ways - they turned out so pretty! So did the scarf - even with the unnoticeable dreaded curl.

Gravatar I love that scarf. The cables just pop!

Gravatar great idea to flip the socks! they look awesome.

Gravatar I am in love with that orange! And of course, that sock pattern has been on my to knit list FOREVER. I've been in a sock kick lately, these may be the next pair I cast on.

Gravatar i hate the ole scarf curl. when i first learned to knit, i actually ironed a scarf! i'm such a dummy.

Gravatar oh you tease! I keep hearing how cute P is and you don't even show his face. Did you try ironing the scarf with a damp towel over the curl edges? That usually helps. The cables pop really nicely!

Gravatar hey i wanna see what P looks like as well!

and i hate scarf curl so much. sucks. oh well, at least the gorgeous color of the scarf and the amazing cable work is enough to distract from the rolling.

Gravatar I don't care if 6,000 folks have knit those socks, they're still on my list for a someday project. Yours are so pretty!

Gravatar I love your socks and the pictures as usual are gorgeous !

Gravatar You are intimidatingly good- I love that scarf! Dang curling... Thanks for the birthday wishes!

Gravatar I think that these are the most beautiful socks in such a great color. Pictures like this make me wish that I were a sock knitter but I know I'm not. I don't even wear socks so it's kinda a mute point :P

I can always live vicariously through you though lol

Gravatar This pattern really reminds me of the Louet cabled bag pattern. It's almost the same cabling!

Gravatar Smart move on the provisional cast on to get a matching toe! Genius!
