what a fantastic list. i'm totally stealing this idea and submitting it to my husband for approval. he runs the "home camp" and i bet he would love this idea...okay, maybe not some of the crafty things but it's great.

did you ever read "remember me to herald square" by paula danziger? it's about a group of teenagers whose parents devise a nyc scavenger hunt for a whole summer and they learn their way around the city, etc. similar idea...
How do you make "clean MUD" and why? ha ha
I've never read that, but it sounds fun! Make sure to post what your husband does and tell him some of the crafty stuff is science. 
AJ, clean mud is TP, soap and warm water that is the consistency of Cool Whip and is clean, but like mud. We'll see how they like it. If I wasn't running low on TP, I would do it Tuesday, but I'm going to have to wait on that one until after shopping. LOL
