I am looking for a person in Baton Rouge for help! I now have at least 20 confirmed people w/housing in St. Louis.
We're talking about getting in our own cars to drive south. We're talking to aid organizations, but they seem to be slammed. We know people need help, but finding them is tough.
Several of the people offering help are women. As you might expect, they would pefer to have women, not men stay in their houses.
We're well on our way to get the support of a few local firms, who can charter a bus (our hope).
But again, we need to know we can get to people that need our help.
I hope all this makes sense. Can anyone help us here?

I was born and lived my first 18 years in Southern Indiana, then moved to Huntsville, Alabama to go to college. I thought, hey, no snow, then I learned about the joys of tropical systems with Opal my first year in Huntsville.
Oh, and at least you didn't go to Perdue. :)
