Someone needs to make a poster with "I Want To Believe" on it and stick Morrison's face over the UFO. Anyone with mad photoshop skills around here?

I'm terrible at Photoshop, but that's a brilliant idea... the moustache would need to be prominently featured. :)

Hooray for PMAC and winning the game for us! I hear that campus is getting CRAZY already, and it isn't even the weekend yet!

I smell a first or second round exit for this incredibly overrated team. Breandan, you should just hope they get in a bracket with Memphis.

Besides, only 2 only WCC teams are over .500. You can't be serious about their NCAA Tourney prospects. Maybe Sweet 16, but definitely not final four. OVERRATED!

The fact that the rest of WCC is weak doesn't prove that Gonzaga is weak. (Obviously.) It also doesn't prove that Gonzaga played a wimpy schedule (they played Maryland, Virginia, Oklahoma State, Stanford, Washington, Michigan State, UConn and Memphis... winning five of those games, and coming within one point of knocking off UConn). So what are you trying to prove? You need to take the argument a step further. Are you saying that, because Gonzaga had a few close games in the WCC, that raises red flags about their NCAA Tourney prospects? Are you saying that their weak WCC schedule has made them "soft" in the second half of the season, such that they effectively peaked too early? Either of those might be reasonable points, but saying "only 2...WCC teams are over .500," and therefore, it follows naturally that Gonzaga is "overrated," is nonsensical. If Albert Einstein were surrounded by a bunch of idiots, that wouldn't make him less smart.

My team came within 1 point of UCONN at their place, so shut it!

Maybe maybe not, he also gets the advantage of playing on a team that gets an inordinate amount of calls that go there way among other things.

I remember thinking after the Michigan State game that one of these teams played the best game they possibly could, and another team has some early season bugs to work out before they would be great. I was right, jsut had the teams flipped.

I still have my doubts about Gonzaga. However, I am beginning to think that this might be the most talented Gonzaga team to date. I think Batista is the most reliable inside player they have had, partly due to his 84% free throw percentage (Turiaf's inability to connect at the stripe did them in last year against Texas Tech). However, I am beginning to think that the greatest variable for tournament success may be the consistency of Derek Raivio. It seems that when he plays well, they win handily, and when he struggles, they experience the close games such as last night's against USF. He needs to play well and hit his outside shots, or the Zags may be ripe for a second or third round upset.
