Whew! Glad that ended OK. I almost felt like I was in the middle of Mel Gibson's Conspiracy Theory" movie for a minute there! Sometimes, real-life is more scary than the movies.

No big whoop to mention this, but if police officers opened my car door - whether their intentions are helpful or not - I'd be pissed too. I understand their message, but we expect that if anybody is going to open our unlocked car doors or even those to our homes, it will be a criminal. The fact that it's police officers makes it very hairy. I understand it may not be related, but it reeks of government interference and is too patriot-act-esque to be brushed aside as the paranoid delusions of a man who eventually held people hostage. Despite his mental state, I would have put up a fuss too. Nobody should enter my vehicle, and those who choose to are criminals.
