I don't trust naturist or nudest. the fact that you want to be nude and be around nude people sends of warning bells in my head, plus I don't want to have to eat next to a nude 60 year old man.

No thanks. Brazil is known for its prostitution and child trafficking, I am very concerned about people fromt he US who "like" to visit often.

I am not a nudist and do not know much about it and it is not something that is on my "list-of-things-to-do-before-I-die".... does that make it bad..no... but you know there are a bunch of naked people....running the whole age gamut from babies to elders...all hanging out together butt as$ naked.

I agree with Kim about the what we do know...it is a popular place for traveling pedophiles, and is also known for carnival, prostitution, child trafficking, and other insundry practices. It is not known ONLY for that but mix the two knowns together (naked kids, naked adults in Brazil....at a FAMILY NUDIST RESORT)....hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

As per the adoption....I know (since adopting my own son) that Brazil is a pretty common international adoption alternative. Were they perhaps FOSTERING the child that was adopted or did they rather prey on (allegedly of course) kids that were on the streets, etc....?

hi.
I once went to a nudist colony by mistake. Yes you heard right. It's an island off of France. You get a ferry there. I asked locals about it and none of them seem to know much. Getting off the ferry, a little way down, there was a woman standing outside the tourist booth holding out brochures. Except she was completely nude, bar a pair of high heels, a fine gold chain around her waist and bright red lipstick.
The next ferry wasn't for a couple of days, so my daughter and I had to stay there at a campsite. It was French law that you had to be nude at all times. The decrees were posted everywhere. It was a very strange experience and I have to say I felt very uncomfortable as I was probably the only single woman there. All the other women were with their partners (possibly coerced into it) and or children.
Anyway it was an opportunity to see how many women had had caesarians (me included!).

I have known these people for several years and find it incredulous that anyone could make accussations of this type towards them. As a nudist, and a parent, myself, I initially worried about children also. I now believe that a nudist resort is one of the safest places a child can be. They typicaly have several hundred babysitters keeping an eye out for them at any given time. Do pedephiles get in? Sure it can happen, but the moment someone shows even a hint of being too familiar with a child at a nudist resort, they are shown the gate. Pedephiles routinly start out by following children around and atemptimg to gain their trust, before they actually do anything improper. Someone simply following a child around, is usually more than enough to get them thrown out. As for women being coerced into going to a nudist resort, my observation of 100's of couples has been that YES, the man typically has to beg the woman to go along, but, once there, the woman is usually the one that wants to keep coming back.
As for Fritz and Barbara, I truly don't think that Fritz would ever do such a thing, and I know that if he did, and Barbara found out... she would turn him in, herself. All these people did was try to help some poor kids in the poor part of the country, and their reward is arrest and prison.

Funny to read comments about nudism from folks, mostly Amerikans, who have no experience with things like Freik örperkultur or places like Cap d'Agde or Isle du Levant. It was at the latter that the lady with the daughter and cesearean showed up, I can imagine. Funny story.

I have been to Colina do Sol and Praia do Pinho, the first nudist beach in Brazil in modern times. Nudists are like anyone else, with paedophiles and poets, only naked. Big hairy deal.

Have any of you seen this?
