The crime stories I like are the ones where I can take satisfaction in bashing the perp. But this is just so sad, all around. And if the allegations about the relationships are true, then it's no surprise that things ended very badly. |

Saying this here too: When I said Darwin at work, I meant in the case of the mother. For her to abuse her son like that, and then have an affair with his wife. Sometimes chlorine in the gene pool isn't a bad thing. She certainly didn't give her son a chance, did she? Given that he actually thought the police would believe she choked herself to death! I feel sorry for him too, but he chose to kill her instead of trying to find help to get away from her. I know there is a stigma with abused males, but there are shelters set up to help them. Surely if he told about how she abused him as a child, and got a restraining order, her lies wouldn't work for her anymore? I bet his going into the military was an attempt to get away from her. Why did he stop trying? |

My guess is that the whole "guess what, your girl cheated on you...with ME!" thing was too much for him and he just snapped. Particularly if he had indeed suffered incest from an early age, and actually cared for Kayla. Maybe a bit of jealousy...a bit of "not her too..." |

Is there anything to corroborate the statements of Regan Tims? Until there is, I think all would do well to tread lightly on the incest question. It may have just been your run of the mill pwt situation and this Tims person wanted to spice it up a bit. After all, its a bombshell of a statement to make, but that doesn't necessarily make it true. |

I know everyone involved in this, deb,matt,kayla, and even regan. wow, what a story. what gets me is that kayla wasn't even charged with anything. if u read the article in the sun journal, she was right there when he killed debra and didn't do anything to stop him. she didnt care. she hated her, and told me so at her house one day when debra was making them clean up the spilled beer and filth they had pored all over the kitchen floor.{she had just come back from serving food at a local shelter}. everyone around here {lewiston} thinks that mat was a victim of sorts, but doesn't think that he should get away with what he did. so what about kayla?? she was in another mans bed that next night, i know because i live in the same building. i seen her that night and she told me what her and matt did and i offered her a place to sleep for the night so she wouldn't have to go back to the house, and she told me that she wasn't dead, and she was going to sleep with jon. does that sound like a girl who is suffering or is a "victim"? i still see her at labor ready, and there is no remorse. i am very upset that someone like that, knowing what she did, is still running around free. |

Well this probaly not a smart move on my part but... here it goes. Im not lying ,I did report debbie and I feel very bad about the whole situation. I only told what I did to shed some light on the situation and to help police understand what a sick situation it actually was. As far as Im concerned that girl ang knows nothing about me and i only know her in passing. She is how I found your web site. But after reading some of your comments i felt put out there . Do u all know what my friends and family have gone through???? Not to mention Debbie(because she wasnt the only agressor)and Matt (lost soul) and kayla VICTIM have gone through as well. You should feel for everyone involved not one or the other... further more how can you listen to anything that ang says since she just beat up kayla over another guy not too long ago. Hope this clears up somethings for you all... I would never lie to get in the spot light look at the sun journal report you"ll see who wants to be seen and thats not me...R. Tims |

This kid used to work for me. I am the one who put him out of the Army. When he was in the Army he went to alcohol classes and failed his therapy. He had a total disregard for military order, policies and procedures. Faithful to his wife he wasn't. I knew that he would end up in trouble with the law, but not to this extent. |
