I think you pretty much nailed it. I do however believe that ALA was the Zodiac. There is no way to exclude him and the circumstantial evidence and logic point directly at him. Graysmith obviously had a point of view but it doesn't mean that his conclusion was wrong. I've never seen any evidence that Allen could be eliminated. The DNA and all of that is worthless because there is no chain of custody.
