My father was Major Wilfred Alonzo Banks who set up SAGA Records from SAGA Films created by the pianist Leonard Cassini. The SAGA recordings made prior to SAGA's sale to Marel Rodd in the early 1960's were genuine Joyce Hatto.

The 'Major' employed Barrington Coupe as the Classical music manager and dismissed him after a fraud against the company was committed.

Barrington-Coupe has taken a lot of credit for SAGA (and Triumph records and RGM Sound)which he did not deserve or earn.
