Did you notice that her 2007 profile said she was "high" and "Meghan [explitive] up"? Drugs could have played a role, or the fact that she was spending time with people involved in drug activity.

I wonder if she didn't get caught up with someone much older than her. The person they questioned lives quite a way from her house.

I read an article that said she was shaky that day, and had asked several people to let her come to their house, and/or could they come to her house.

That makes it appear that she knew something bad was up. I didn't notice anything unusual about her friends myspace pages, they all seemed like normal teens. Only one friend had stuff about pot on his page, but no mention anywhere of any harder substances.

Very sad for her family. Of course the speculation about the step father begins, I think it's a natural suspicion. I haven't read anything to indicate he is implicated though.

Im pretty sure meghan was not on drugs!!! I am her cousin!!! Meghan was a good girl! And I can promise you that her step dad, my uncle had nothing to do with this!!! We have a great family, my uncle is very kind, but strict at the same time. He wanted his kids to grow up and become something thats why is was strick!!!! He would have never put his hands on her!!!!

i just wanted to say that this is a horrible story, and it has touched many poeple close to me. Everyone i know is terrified to walk out the door beause such a horrible crime was comitted just around the corner.

Meghan was a sweet girl who didnt deserve what happen to her. NO one deserves to die that way.

And i would continue to question the step father and the navy guy...

i live two streets away from her, she was not on drugs.
she was a good girl, from the start.

we were decent friends and what happened to her was tragic, whoever could have possibly done this to such a sweet girl should burn in hell.

Meghan was not involved in drugs. And anyone that believes her stepfather was involved obviously doesn't know the family. And the girl that claims she was scared to go home and was begging to go to this girls house is full of crap!!! Her mom had never even seen that girl before...and trust me she wasn't going anywhere her Mom hadn't checked out first.

well i was there that day after school standing right next too her when she sat there and basicly begged that girl to go to her house after schoool. she won't the only person she was beggin. TRUST ME!! i was there. and she was plannin on gettin home before her parents did cause she was suppose to be grounded.

meghan was and still is known by everybody she was my cousin brittney's best friend its a shame to see such a young and sweet person get torchered and killed. it makes me sad being that time flies so quickly and that i didn't get to truley know her.its best to think of the positive times we had with her and to keep her in our hearts/rose.
