I made a subtle suggestion along those lines, but they already had stuff well in place, and a blog updated by the "experts" (the quotes are purely for the idea of me being an expert) would have required too great a change. But I agree -- it would have invited dialogue, exchange, and discussion, and perhaps extra traffic based on word-of-mouth.
I disagree about the British thinking about whether he gets a fair trial - he makes the rest of us feel thoroughly ashamed to think that the US welcomed him with open arms and how horribly he repaid that.
