This is the most reasonable thing I have read that makes the most sense:
I've just watched the Mc Cann family being interviewed following their trip to Rome today. The press conference is almost conducted with too much dignity. The business like manner of it all is far too spooly. The incessant double blinking of Mr Mc Cann is telling me there really is something incorrect here. Here's my conclusion :
The Mc Canns didnt check on the kids that often at all. It started as every 15 mins, went to 30 mins, we hear it may have been every hour. The Restaurant was at one point reported to be within 20-50 mertres whilst some reports put it over 100 mtrs away. Other reports said they coud see the Hotel apartment from the table they were having, the map however suggests this is impossible. What is going on.
Mr Mc Cann is far too composed. I suggest he found Madeline dead in the room having slipped in the bathroom or something else. As partners and doctors the would know that in the UK they would be charged with Neglect and imprisoned for this. They would also have lost the other two children.
Perhaps he found Maddy and decided the best course of action was to feign abduction and get rid of the body. They would of course still be terribly upset, traumatised by their own action as well as the loss of their child. For all we know perhaps Mrs Mc Cann is unaware and only Mr Mc Cann. Since then of course the ball has started rolling and keeping it going is the only means to avoid detection.
I'd like to see facts, times, distances, friends , history etc and less church, Pope, crazy 'suspects' who clearly have nothing to do with it.
too bad Ms McCann didn't walk around w her daughter like she does her cuddly 'toy'. Maybe she wouldn't be missing/deceased.

I have followed this case very closely and I wish I could say..I am very well informed, etc. But I can tell you that I know about as much s I knew on May 4th, Madeleine McCann is missing. Her parents left her and her twin little baby brother and sister alone, in an unlocked apartment while they dined quite a distance away. They couldnt see the room from the Tapas. Forgive me if I dont provide all the links to back my statements up .Trust me there are plenty of maps available to show anyone the view from Tapas to the apt. Yes, potentially they could have seen the sliding doors from a distance but no way could they have seen what was going on behind closed doors. There is a door that leads right to the street on the other side of their apt. too. And then of course there is the notorious window that may/may not have been tampered with that could/couldnt have been an exit as well.
Ok, We all know that leaving the children alone was a mistake. I hate to beat them over the head with that because although it was truly irresponsible and common sense should have told them it was a bad idea to leave their three chilren , under age 3, with the doors unlocked... but we all know hindsight is 20/20! The part that irks me , if you will, is the way they acted afterwards about it. Instead of immediately just saying they were wrong they almost had the "attitude" of somewhat digging in their heels to defend their actions by saying things like...other people were doing it, and it was very close to where they were dining, "it was like eating in your garden" they said. And my all time favorite statement will always be when Gerry said...a friend of his told him it was ok. Oh and I cant forget the "we were so naive."
Then at one point it was reported, in a paper not in an interview so alot of those things they supposedly say must be taken with a grain of salt...that they just didnt want to leave them alone with strangers. IFfff they said that, that would be very peculiar considering the very same people that were babysitting their children all day while they were on their "family holiday" at the "creche" were the same ladies that watched children in the evenings in the apts.
So, right away something seems a bit off.
I was also wondering why the parents chose not to use a listening device (we call them baby monitors)? The Resort prides itself on being very child friendly and I know they were familiar with this because its been reported that they really liked the ladies that the kids spent their days with in the creche.
Ok, so here was the next thing that made the bells in my head ding louder than those of the church they attended so faithfully to pray for Madeleine.
WHY when Kate found Madeleine was missing from her bed that fateful eve...where she was alledged to have been sleeping between her baby brother and sister...why did Kate look and see she was gone, then turn around and run out the door and all the way back to Tapas, leaving her baby tw
