Fascinating story, Steve, so of course my question is of the more mundane sort: how in the world did you find the other domains registered to that same address? I thought you could only look at WHOIS info if you knew the actual domain, not search for domains based on WHOIS info.

Thanks for this story Steve. It really hits home for me, especially your last comments on the type of person he may be. My ex-husband was a very similar person, quite the narcissist.... once I smartened up and realized that all his lies were beginning to unravel, he lost it. He's now hiding overseas as a contractor, and I am left to clean up his messes. In fact, I just got a notice from the IRS yesterday.... He never paid our 2005 taxes, and now they're coming after me.... I feel horrible for the wife and baby, and their family. People like this are so good at putting on an act, and once they can't do it anymore, the path of destruction is horrible. I am blessed that I made it out alive... Wow, you're asking me to recall how I did something more than two years ago. The short answer is that many of these domains were buried as links from known sites of Entwistle's. I remember feeling that his eBay profile was a kind of rosetta stone for other things, as he'd posted images on the profile at one point that were hosted by domains he owned. In Firefox, you can right-click on an image and select an option to view that image only, which gives you its location.

I could have given a more thorough answer 2 years ago, but I've forgotten some of how I found this; I do know that tips from readers were invaluable.

An FYI, I don't know if they will do this everyday of the trial, but yesterday, IS was showing live feed via CNN.com.

I know at lot of neil entwhistle's seedy online life will be exposed in this trial. However, there has been evidence of contact made by entwhistle with adult websites/escort services. I believe, Entwhistle was planning to set-up such a service, and was doing market research.
Lets face it, he had no money, debts etc. I doubt he's going to use the money he had to spend on prostitutes.
Either way, it will be interesting to see what transpires.

Also, the "online businesses" he had were registered when he was at York University. Heslington Road is within spitting distance of the campus. I think it was a means to pay off student debt, without the hard graft. But ultimately, they failed.

But its a side-issue now. NE has to put doubt in the Jurors minds that he is innocent. It must focus on the gun, and access to it, and the contaminated crime scene.

That Boy is going away for a loooooooooooooong time! He was complaining and upset about his sex life before, wait till he gets put in General Population this weekend. Hes gonna have quite an active sex life now behind bars with men nevertheless. Hell be meeting his Cellmate this weekend and the first thing Bubbas gonna ask. “Hey Boy you wanna be the husband or the wife?” lol
