Gravatar Hi, thanks for stopping by. Love your blog! I live in British Columbia, Canada (ya, another one of "us").

Peace,
Fiona

Gravatar This is one reason why I want to be cremated, but I have directed that my ashes be buried in the old family cemetery near my grandmother. The thought of some close relative or friend cuddling up to my ashes just makes me shudder. Though I suppose at that point, I won't care.

Gravatar Next: Grandpa's and Grandma's remains can be Cream-ated and used by loved ones as a nondairy coffee additive. Hey, it makes about as much sense as Huggable Urns.

(Have I stayed up too late watching local election returns, or what!)

Gravatar They are kind of creepy (ALL urns are creepy) and will someday weird out the kid's head with the biggest mental EEEUUUUUUWWW you never heard. When I was a toddler, I slept with a stuffed baby alligator. Not a plushie... a REAL alligator. Looking back on it now, I am weirded out. His name was Kilroy, BTW. What were my parents thinking?

I think cremation is good, and sprinkling or burying them is good. Keeping the ashes away from Keith Richards is good.

Gravatar Fiona:

Hey there. Personally, I think Canada is pretty cool. Especially Toronto. Someday, I'd love to check out Vancouver, since lots of cool science fiction shows are filmed there.

Gravatar P.T. Barnum would have remarked, "There's a sucker born every minute."

The ancient Romans might have added, De gustibus non est disputandum (There's no accounting for taste)

Gravatar I have your post entered in the This
Blog Blows My Dress Up Contest. Please shoot me a comment, and show me where you linked to the contest. Thanks.

Gravatar I read this earlier and was shaking my head so much I never commented. I honestly think for a select few it may actually serve a good purpose, but for most others -- it just seems a lot (make that major) weird, but then you already know that! Congrats on your 2nd place in Shelly's contest!
