Take it from a Texan: Ron Paul is a scary guy. He's not really conservative. He's not really libertarian, let alone a civil one. He has the knack of appealing to desperate people who aren't Democrats but nonetheless want something better than what we've got now. And he's been doing it for years in his home state. I understand the desperation... but nobody should be deceived into voting for Ron Paul.

I agree Paul's antiwar stance is admirable, and it sets him apart from his fellow GOPers. If he stays in the race or even runs as an independent, I can see him taking votes away from the other candidates.
