Em, I'm really glad you listened to the program. Now you can tell other Brits, that SOME Americans listen to good programming, and aren't insane. Of course, judging from most of the people that called in to the show on MPR, there's still a heck-uv-a lot of STUPID people in my country.

I just got done listening to it. (Too many shinies distracting me.)

I was surprised by the restraint that the callers had shown. (Could've been a skill with moderation, just a titch?) Perhaps I live in a more "blue-collar" neighborhood, but even mentioning such a concept as teaching the muslims that we're human too and finding a peaceful solution is liable to get you yelled at, at the least. There could be a parking lot party.

There are so many people who have an arrogant belief that because we are the superpower that no one would dare mess with us.

Like mildly-benevolent schoolyard bullies...

If only they understood that they were extremists in the other direction.
