If it wasn't for the Technorati link inside of Wordpress Dashboard, I would have missed this. Which would be a shame, as it's cute, really - you managed to write 3 paragraphs about my site without actually telling anything about it.

Thanks for stopping by, and please by all means, stay tuned, Aleksandar. I overwrite everything. It's a gift. Meaning, get ready for another few paragraphs.

First, thanks for calling my post "cute." I was afraid I was bordering on "adorable." And cute was where I was trying to go. Good typographic design = ugly. Vapid writing = cute. I'm starting to get it.

Second, I really don't have any constructive feedback for you about your site or the post. The post was short and to the point. (There was really no critique against which to retort. You say "ugly." I say "Nuh-unh." You say "Yuh-hunh." Not much in the realm of high-minded debate there.) As for the site, I'm, admittedly, not a designer, so my espousing opinions on your site and design would be worthless.

I am, however, a self-admitted fan of those sites, so I lashed out with a bit of emotion--rather than reason--at your calling those sites ugly. Shame on me. Again, stay tuned. You'll find my posts devoid of reason on a regular basis.

You clearly have a very specific eye for design, and much deeper understanding of the what defines "ugly" or "beautiful" than I. Well, and of course, "cute."
